COMPANY PROFILE

M/s.  MARS RAIL-FIT ENGINEERS PVT LTD – Chennai is a private Limited Company established in the year December 2006 and started the commercial Production in April’2007.  The Company is registered as a SSI unit and is located at Ambattur Industrial Estate.

The Company is  Manufacturing of High pressure Fittings used in pressure Lines in various fields and got all statutory approvals such as Sales Tax, VAT, CST, Factory Act, ESI, PF, Central Excise  etc.,

MARS RAIL-FIT ENGINEERS started as a dedicated unit for supply of Double Ferrule Fittings and SS Tubes to Indian Railways more specifically to M/s. ICF (Integral coach Factory – Chennai). The unit initially Registered as a Vendor under Development Category has got through and registered as an Approved Source (vendor) in the year 2009.  All the products required for these Double Ferrule Fittings and SS Tubes are used as  Under Carriage Hydro – Pneumatic Brake Fittings  for New Coaches manufactured by ICF. The Tubes and Double Ferrule Fittings were Type Tested as per BS 6358.

Since then, the Company has increased the production capacity by adding required machining centers (CNC machines) and has the current capacity of 1000 coach sets per annum.

The Company is an ISO -9001: 2008 Certified Company, with effective from 2009

As part of the procedure, the Company has developed a Type Testing Machine in house. This is an integrated Test Bench consisting of Pressure – Impulse test, Vibration test and Temperature cycle test and all the tests are conducted concurrently.

So far we have successfully completed a number of orders of ICF, BEML and other related Railways where these coaches manufactured by ICF are running.
